How does G-mail fare compare to other e-mail providers? I'd say a helluva lot better than most. The system is fast enough, e-mails are easier to read, I've never gotten spam, etc.. I also enjoy the small bit of customization I can get with the background; it's the minuscule details that really makes it rise above the rest. None of the previously mentioned pros really add up to much, in my ignorant and unprofessional experience, it's the best e-mail provider, but take my word with a grain of salt.
